Securing your account and changing sign-in details
Open Profile > Security to manage your sign-in methods, authenticator devices and active sessions. These settings apply to your account; committee roles and unit membership are managed separately in People.
Enable two-factor authentication
- Find Two-Factor Authentication and choose Enable.
- Follow the sign-in service's instructions to configure your authenticator app and complete verification.
- Return to Security and check that the device is listed as Active.
Use Add Another Device to configure another authenticator. Before replacing a phone, set up and verify the replacement while you can still use the existing device. Choose Remove beside an old authenticator only when you are ready to stop using it, and read the confirmation.
If you have lost your authenticator and cannot sign in, contact support from the public support form. Explain the access problem without sending authentication codes or setup secrets.
Set or change your password
- In Password, choose Set Password or Change Password, whichever is shown.
- Complete the sign-in service's verification and password flow.
- Use the updated password for subsequent password sign-ins.
An account created with a connected provider may not yet have a password. Setting one adds a password sign-in method to that account.
Connect or unlink a sign-in account
In Connected Accounts, choose Connect beside an available provider and complete its sign-in flow. Check the linked account shown when you return.
To remove a connection, choose Unlink and review the confirmation. Keep another working sign-in method first. The app blocks unlinking your last connected method when no password is set.
Connecting Google for sign-in is separate from Google Calendar synchronisation.
Change your email address
- Check that you can access the new mailbox.
- Under Email Address, choose Change Email.
- Complete the verification steps shown by the sign-in service.
- Return to Profile and confirm the updated address before giving up access to the old mailbox.
Use the updated address when checking sign-in and notification issues. Support tickets sent from an older address may not match the new address when claiming email tickets; contact support if you need help accessing them.
Review signed-in devices
In Signed In Devices, review the browser, device and access times. This device identifies your current session.
Choose Sign Out beside a session you want to end, or Sign Out Others to end the other sessions offered by the app. Read the confirmation before proceeding. If you see activity you do not recognise, also review your password and connected sign-in accounts.
Never share passwords, authenticator setup details or one-time codes with another resident or support.
